Cliff Edwards

imageCliff Edwards is inspired by the possibility of a world in which: life-long learning is embraced by all, people view every life experience as an opportunity for growth, and individuals, businesses and governments communicate openly and work cooperatively to solve the big challenges of our times (also in which wordplay and puns are regarded as the highest form of humor, but that’s a different story). He feels equally comfortable in the hard facts based world of science and technology, as well as the softer, sometimes squishier realm of personal and professional development.

A coach and trainer for the past eighteen years, Cliff co-founded the Ford Institute for Integrative Coaching in 2000 where he served as Director of Programs. For 11 years he wrote and delivered transformative training content, and organized and managed the instruction and certification of nearly 1000 coaches worldwide.

Prior to that, Cliff exercised his entrepreneurial side throughout the 1990’s, in business providing litigation document management services to Corporate legal departments. In that role he cultivated his predilection for systems and technology with clients including Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics, Sundstrand Corp and others. Ready for a change, in 1998 he began to transition out of the combative domain of lawyers and corporate litigation to become a professional coach and trainer.

Cliff loves to create step-by-step systems and structure useful information into logical and digestible chunks. He continues to produce and lead courses and trainings both live and online and published his first book in 2013. He also now guides individual clients through the often challenging process of achieving clear objectives, sharing their brilliance as subject matter experts and publishing books of their own.

Cliff and his wife Loree joyfully live in San Diego, CA. When he’s not contributing value with clients and colleagues, you might find him out on travel adventures with Loree, voraciously reading on science and cosmology, walking by the bay or beach, or enjoying great food, conversation and wine with friends.
